It's very strange to watch disaster unfold in real time.
I'm reeling.
First came the announcement of 1041 new UK Covid deaths in the last 24 hours.
One thousand and forty one people dead when they shouldn't be, and 63,000 new cases reported today. About 1% of people who catch it, die. Do the maths.
Then, America.
Everything went from incredibly bad to insanely worse in under four hours.
It is not a happy feeling to be living through history.
