Took it very gently today.
A quick walk by the river after work, then home to cwtch up with a book; no stress, no thinking, just tea and biscuits and relaxing.
Reeling myself back in.
I noticed one of the magpies hanging around like a loose end.
It was sitting beside its nest when I came home, looking quite fed up, and this afternoon it was mooching around in a different tree:
Usually the pair of them operate in tandem. Does this mean mum is getting busy with egg business?
Can't wait to meet the babies if so. I'll be a proud magpie aunt.
