I've lost my wallet.
Had it at work last night; don't have it now.
After checking last night's bag and pockets twelve times over I finally accepted that it wasn't in the bag or any of the pockets.
Emailed work - they couldn't find it.
Checked the car - not there.
The lost property page of the police website advised phoning 101; 101 referred you to the lost property page of the police website. Chocolate fucking teapot.
The online banking showed nothing amiss, so I froze the bank card then sat on the sofa feeling dejected for many, many hours.
I'll sort it out tomorrow. Just didn't have the strength today what with [*gestures at The Conservative Party*] everything else.
